Vyatkin was a famous USSR artist. He studied at Kharkov’s State Fine Art Institute from 1946-1952. Vyatkin was a member of the National Artists’ Union of Ukrainian Soviet Socialite Republic since 1960. From 1952 he has participated in numerous exhibitions, including regional, all-USSR and international. He also held personal exhibitions in Kharkov in  (1964, 1965, 1966, 1972, 1986).
Vyatkin was a professor of the academy figures in Kharkov’s State Fine Art Institute. From 1964 till 1976 Vyatkin was the Chief  artist of  Kharkov city, a laureate of the prize "People recognition" and a grant holder of the Sergey Vasilkovskiy's prize.
