Rabotyagov Nikolay (1924 – 2004) Nikolay Rabotyagov was a recognized landscape master from USSR, a graphic artist, and an art historian. In 1947-1953 he had been studying in Kharkov’s Fine Art Institute. A follower of Alexei Kokel and Sergey Besedin. Since 1952, he participated in numerous exhibitions, including regional, all-USSR and international. Rabotyagov was a member of the National Artists’ Union of Ukrainian Soviet Socialite Republic since 1971. Since 1960 till 1987 Rabotyagov was a director of the Kharkov’s Regional State Museum of Fine Art. His name has been included in “ A Dictionary of Russian and Soviet artists ” published in London.
